From the DB to Code And Back Again: A Feature Presentation

Nearly everything in Drupal - save mdoules and themes - is saved to the database. This can be a headache for tracking chages to views, content/entity types, and a host of other Drupal configurations. Thanks to the Features module, we can now track and version those changes as well as logically packaging associated items to deploy as a fancy new module on any sites you may create.
