Building and selling software as a service as a small organization

Facebook reports each engineer on their staff supports 1.2 million users.  

Imagine what would happen if you could deliver your products or services with an efficiency that was even a fraction of Facebook. With tools like Drupal, Software as a service has become a real possibility for small businesses and organizations in the most unexpected of sectors.  

In this session, we will follow a small (20 staff) religious non-profit as they move through the process of conceptualizing, developing and launching a successful Drupal based software as a service offering.  

We will touch on everything from market research, audience identification, and product design, to an overview of some of the tools in Drupal, like Organic Groups, which make this all possible.
